A quiet moment in the woods where the line between nature and spirit blurs.  This original illustration I painted captures the surreal feeling of standing in a forest at dusk  that strange calm where the world feels alive in ways you can’t quite see.

This painting was inspired by a photo I took of a forest very close to my house during sunset so the forest was quite dark but very atmospheric, I was very inspired to paint at the time and used the photo as reference, as I was painting I thought it would be cool to add little spirits in the painting similar to the little spirits that you see in Princess Mononoke and a. I very much enjoyed creating this painting and it was one of the few environment painting i enjoyed working on and I hope you would like this as your wall art.
